What we make
Three kinds of work
Kitchens
Designed with you, built in our shop, installed by the people who built it. Inset or overlay, painted or in the wood.
Built-ins
Bookcases, window seats, mudrooms, pantries and wardrobes. Fitted to the room that exists, not the one on the drawing.
Restoration
Sash windows, staircases, mouldings and doors. We repair first and replace only what is past saving.
About
Two people and a shop on Sawkill Road
We started building kitchens for friends and never got around to hiring anyone. That is on purpose — the person who takes your measurements is the person at the bench and the person who hangs the doors.
We take on a handful of projects a year. It means a wait, and it means the work is right.
If a drawer still shuts properly in forty years, we did it correctly.
